JOINT INJECTIONS

In addition to oral and injectable medications, joint-injections can be used as an additional means to help control inflamed joints, tendons, or bursae.  Typically, the joints are injected  with corticosteroids, however, viscosupplemental therapy can also be used to help alleviate pain, especially in the knees.

INFUSION TherapY

Today, more and more treatment is given intravenously for various rheumatologic illnesses, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, and osteoporosis.  Our infusion suite is equipped to allow for efficient, safe, and comfortable administration of these medications.  Our nurses are experienced and well trained in the administration of these medications. 

PHLEBOTOMY

At ARC we have an experienced in-house phlebotomist available to draw blood-work while at your office visit in order to save you time. 

MUSCULOSKELETAL ULTRASOUND

Musculoskeletal ultrasound is a machine which uses sound waves to visualize muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerves.  It can be used to diagnose various rheumatologic disorders non-invasively and without the use of harmful radiation.
